Neymar happy to work with Brazil sports psychologist

Brazil forward Neymar praises manager Luiz Felipe Scolari's decision to hire a psychologist to help the Selecao players cope with pressure at the World Cup.

Brazil forward Neymar has praised manager Luiz Felipe Scolari's decision to hire a sports psychologist to help the Selecao players cope with pressure on and off the pitch at the World Cup.

In the second round of the competition the host nation beat Chile on penalties, but Neymar, David Luiz and Julio Cesar appeared to be in tears at the end of extra time.

As a result, Scolari took on psychologist Regina Brandao to work with the players, a decision lauded by the 22-year-old Barcelona star.

"I had never done anything like it before and I am quite enjoying it," Neymar told reporters.

"It is not only us in football, who are surrounded by emotions every day and need psychologists. I think it could do every person good, to make one more relaxed.

"We have a very good relationship with Regina Brandao. She is a great person. I am learning a lot and I hope to continuing doing it."

Brazil take on Colombia in the quarter-finals of the World Cup tomorrow in Fortaleza.
