Marinus Dijkhuizen: 'We want Andre Gray to stay at Brentford'

Brentford manager Marinus Dijkhuizen says that he wants striker Andre Gray to stay at the club despite interest from Hull City.

Brentford manager Marinus Dijkhuizen has said that he wants Andre Gray to stay at Brentford.

Hull City have reportedly made bids for Gray, who the Bees are believed to value at £7m, and right-back Moses Odubajo.

Odubajo looks likely to leave the club after Hull met his release clause, but Dijkhuizen is hopeful that Gray will remain at Griffin Park.

"Andre has no clause. We want to keep him. Everybody is for sale but at the right price for Brentford," Dijkhuizen told Get West London.

"He's a good player and a big striker and can improve. He came from Luton and he'll be much better than he was. We'll see. I hope he is in my squad for the weekend."

Gray scored 18 goals last season as Brentford reached the Championship playoffs.
