Oscar Garcia has said that he is happy with Brighton & Hove Albion's point against Bournemouth today.
The Seagulls travelled along the South Coast on a three-game winning streak but had to settle for a point as Ashley Barnes's classy half-volley cancelled out Matt Ritchie's first-half free kick.
Speaking afterwards, Albion manager Garcia told the club website: "I feel it was a good point for us, we wanted to pick up all three but it wasn't possible.
"We have to give Bournemouth credit because they played very well. It was a balanced game and a point was the correct result.
"It was one half to them and a half to us. The first half they played better but in the second we played much better than them."
A point kept Brighton in ninth place, two shy of the playoff places in the Championship. They next host struggling Barnsley on Tuesday night.
