Team News: Craig Mackail-Smith alone up front for Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton & Hove Albion start with Craig Mackail-Smith alone up front against Brentford as Adrian Colunga misses out.

Craig Mackail-Smith will lead the line for Brighton & Hove Albion against high-flying Brentford after fellow striker Adrian Colunga failed to recover from injury.

Seagulls defender Bruno also misses out on a return to Chris Hughton's side, while Kazenga LuaLua, Andrew Crofts, Dale Stephens and Kemy Agustien remain long-term absentees.

Brentford's new signing Lewis Macleod has been ruled out with a hamstring injury, and Alan Judge's knee problem keeps him out of Mark Warburton's side.

Scott Hogan is still several weeks away from a return for the Bees as he continues his recovery from cruciate ligament damage.

Brighton & Hove Albion: Stockdale; Calderon, Greer, Dunk, Bennett; Holla, Ince; March, Forster-Caskey, Baldock; Mackail-Smith.

Brentford: Button; Odubajo, Dean, Tarkowski, Bidwell; Douglas, Jota, Pritchard, Diagouraga, Dallas; Gray.
