Bristol Rovers have extended the loan of Preston North End striker Chris Beardsley until January 5.
The 29-year-old moved to the club on loan last month, having failed to make an appearance for Preston this season.
Rovers manager John Ward has said that he is pleased to keep hold of Beardsley until the New Year.
"Chris is a really good team player, and a senior pro who brings experience to our young team," Ward told the club's official website.
"As well as scoring a couple of goals, he is hard working and has a great attitude, both on and off the pitch.
"He has done everything I hoped he would do here, and more, and I am delighted he has extended his loan with us."
Beardsley has scored two goals in four matches for the League Two side.
