Jermaine Beckford will feature as a lone striker during his first appearance for Bolton Wanderers against Burnley.

Bolton Wanderers will start this afternoon's opening day Championship clash against Burnley with debutant Jermaine Beckford operating as a lone centre-forward.

The summer signing from Leicester City will be supported by Lee Chung-Yong, while Alex Baptiste will also make his first outing for the Trotters.

Hosts Burnley have handed a debut to goalkeeper Tom Heaton, but without the departed Charlie Austin, Sam Vokes and Danny Ings will form the striking partnership.

Burnley: Heaton; Trippier, Lafferty, Shackell, Long; Wallace, Jones, Marney, Stanislas; Ings, Vokes
