Preview: Burnley vs. Bolton Wanderers

Sports Mole looks ahead to Bolton Wanderers' trip to Turf Moor to face Burnley on the opening day of the Championship season.

Bolton Wanderers make the short trip to Burnley for their first game of the season in the Championship.

Jermaine Beckford could make his league debut for the Trotters, having moved to the club from Leicester City earlier this month.

Meanwhile, the home side will play their first game since the departure of Charlie Austin, who scored 28 goals in 40 appearances for Burnley in the last campaign.

Former Sunderland striker Ryan Noble could fill the gap left by Austin, having joined Burnley on a free transfer earlier this summer.

Ben Mee and Michael Duff will need late fitness tests for Burnley, while Stuart Holden, Joe Riley and Mark Davies will all be missing for the visitors.

Possible lineups:

Burnley: Heaton, Mee, Shackell, Duff, Lafferty, Jones, Stanislas, Marney, Wallace, Ings, Noble

Bolton: Bogdan, Mears, Ream, Knight, Baptiste, Eagles, Pratley, Andrews, Vela, N'Gog, Beckford

Sports Mole says: 2-1 to Bolton
