Brentford striker Andre Gray is reportedly undergoing a medical at Burnley ahead of a proposed move.
The 24-year-old has been linked with numerous Championship clubs on the back of an impressive maiden campaign at Griffin Park.
Hull City were initially thought to be frontrunners to land Gray, but manager Steve Bruce admitted earlier this week that his side had been priced out of a move.
That came after Bristol City had themselves shown an interest in the Englishman, who scored 18 goals for the Bees in 2014-15 upon joining from Luton Town.
Reports emerged on Thursday evening claiming that Gray had turned down the Robins' approach, however, with Sky Sports News now suggesting that Burnley is the forward's club of choice.
The Clarets' bid is said to be in the region of £9m - the same amount that was previously offered by Bristol City.
Burnley will face Brentford at Turf Moor in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.
