The Rossoblu have moved quickly to fill their managerial vacancy, after sacking Gianfranco Zola earlier today.
Zola had only replaced Zeman in December, but a run of five defeats from six league games helped to seal the former Chelsea player's fate.
Zeman had taken charge of Cagliari last summer, with his first spell at the club lasting just seven months.
