Cardiff City striker Federico Macheda has said that he is determined to play his part in the club's promotion push after finally making a return from injury.
The 24-year-old made his first appearance of the campaign in last weekend's meeting with Burnley, coming off the bench for the final minute of the 2-2 draw.
Cardiff let slip a two-goal lead in the closing stages of that match, which Macheda concedes was a major disappointment on the back of what had been his side's most impressive performance of the season to date.
Speaking to the Bluebirds' official website, the ex-Manchester United forward said: "Personally, I'm feeling good. I had my operation around 12 weeks ago now and finally I'm through it and feeling great. I'm looking forward to getting even fitter and contributing to the team.
"I had a run-out with the development team ahead of getting out in front of the fans for a few minutes against Burnley. It's always a great feeling getting back after injury - I was very pleased with that.
"We were disappointed after Burnley as with five minutes to go we were 2-0 up and should have won the game easily. We were the better side and to only take a draw from it was really disappointing. We want to go to Bolton to make sure we get the three points. After the disappointment last Saturday, we have to go there hungry to come back with a win."
Despite last weekend's dropped points, Cardiff are still just two points off the playoff zone ahead of their trip to face Bolton Wanderers.
