Report: Cardiff City renew Tom Adeyemi interest

Cardiff City are reportedly planning on making a second bid for Birmingham City midfielder Tom Adeyemi.

Birmingham City reportedly face a battle to keep hold of midfielder Tom Adeyemi following renewed interest from Cardiff City.

The 22-year-old is said to have handed in a transfer request at the Blues, while fellow Championship club Cardiff are rumoured to have made an earlier offer for Adeyemi's services which was rejected.

However, with Gary Medel and Jordon Mutch expected to move away from South Wales this summer, the Birmingham Mail reports that the Bluebirds could now make a fresh bid for Adeyemi.

Cardiff get the Football League season underway on Friday when they take on Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park.
