Ole Gunnar Solskjaer expects Gary Medel announcement soon

Cardiff City manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer claims that Gary Medel's proposed move to Inter Milan could be completed in the next few days.

Cardiff City manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that Gary Medel's proposed move to Inter Milan could be finalised this week.

The Chile international midfielder is understood closing in on a switch to the Italian club following just one season in South Wales.

While insisting that Cardiff are looking for the right price for Medel, Solskjaer has suggested that the 27-year-old could leave the Bluebirds in the coming days.

"We have made it clear, we want our price or we want Gary, but we do expect an announcement to be made soon," the Norwegian is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

Cardiff are reportedly intent on selling Medel for no less than £10m.
