Bursaspor striker Kenny Miller has edged closer to a move to Cardiff City after passing a medical.
A fee believed to be in the region of £800,000 was agreed on Wednesday between the two clubs.
"He's passed the medical and we're just waiting on documentation for the transfer to go through," said manager Malky Mackay.
"He's an experienced player, a leader, he's someone who is a proven goalscorer and also someone who leads the line very well."
The 31-year-old had been linked with a move to former team Rangers, but the Glasgow club's offer of £400,000 was rejected by the Turkish outfit.
