Celtic captain Scott Brown has revealed that he hopes that manager Neil Lennon will stay at the club this summer.
Lennon is one of the early favourites to take over at Norwich City following the sacking of Chris Hughton on Sunday night.
However, Brown is eager for the Irishman to remain at Parkhead and guide the team to more success in the future.
"He has done a great job here, it showed last year in the Champions League as well and winning the league, and this year winning the league yet again, and getting into the Champions League again was huge," the midfielder is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
"What he does with us on the field day in, day out is all about football and making it entertaining for the fans. He loves the club more than anyone at the club.
"Everything is a difficult decision, especially at a club this big, but we hope he stays and it would be great for the club if he stays."
Lennon distanced himself with the managerial vacancy at Carrow Road shortly after Hughton's dismissal on Sunday evening.
