Ronny Deila has said that this year he has a better idea of what to expect as he prepares for his second season in charge of Celtic.
The manager arrived at the Scottish champions last June, giving him just over six weeks to get to know his squad and bring in new players before facing a Champions League qualifying tie.
The Norwegian told STV: "This is a big difference. I was signing in June but my team in Norway was playing two days before I came here.
"I was straight into a new team, new environment, new country, new teams to play against and also straight into the Champions League. Now you know more what we can expect and more about how we're going to get there."
Celtic will face Icelandic side Stjarnan in their second-round Champions League qualifier next month.
