The Scottish Football Association have announced that Celtic winger Aleksandar Tonev has been given a seven-match ban for racially abusing Aberdeen's Shay Logan.
The 24-year-old was charged with using 'racist language' in an incident involving Logan during Celtic's 2-1 victory over Aberdeen last month.
A statement from the Scottish FA said that Tonev, who is on loan at the club from Aston Villa, has breached disciplinary rule 202, which is "excessive misconduct by the use of offensive, insulting and abusive language of a racist nature".
Prior to the charge, Tonev is believed to have denied using racist language.
