Celtic lose to Inverness Caledonian Thistle

Celtic remain top of the SPL despite a 1-0 loss at home to Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

Celtic slipped to a 1-0 defeat to Inverness Caledonian Thistle this evening, but remain top of the Scottish Premier League.

The home side kept Antonio Reguero busy in the first half, but were unable to beat the Inverness stopper.

The breakthrough came in the 64th minute when Billy McKay fired a shot in from close range for the visitors.

Owain Tudor-Jones had a chance for a second just three minutes later, but Fraser Forster made the save.

Kris Commons had a number of opportunities in the final stages of the match to get an equaliser for Celtic but could not find the target.

Despite the loss, Celtic remain top of the SPL, as Hibernian also lost today.
