Ronny Deila has hinted that Celtic could make a move for Hearts captain Danny Wilson during the summer transfer window.
The former Rangers and Liverpool defender has enjoyed an impressive season at Scottish Championship level, helping the Maroons on their way to top-flight promotion.
It was reported last week that Celtic were considering a £400,000 bid for Wilson, and Deila has now admitted that he may make an approach as questions still remain over the futures of defensive pair Virgil van Dijk and Jason Denayer.
"[Wilson] is one of many names we are looking at," the Daily Mail quotes the Norwegian as saying. "I know all about him, of course. He is a good player but there is nothing in that right now.
"We are looking for central defenders. That is an important target because of Jason and also because of the situation with Virgil. Hopefully we will keep him."
Wilson has just 12 months remaining on his current deal at Hearts, although owner Ann Budge has previously insisted that there is no need for the recently-promoted club to sell any assets.
