Celtic boss Neil Lennon has admitted that he is desperate to keep top scorer Gary Hooper at the club.
The 25-year-old, who scored 31 goals for the Scottish club last season, is a reported transfer target for a number of Premier League clubs.
However, Lennon, whose own future is also undecided, has insisted that he will not let the former Southend United forward leave on the cheap.
"He's a master goalscorer, I just thought he was wonderful against Hibs. He and Anthony Stokes play so well together at times and have really caught the imagination," Lennon told Sky Sports News.
"If Gary needs to go, then he leaves a great legacy, but he'd be one I would be desperate to keep. If he wants to go, he'll be really hard to replace, but we'll do everything we can to keep him."
Lennon has been linked with the vacant Everton managerial position.
