Celtic striker Tony Watt nearing Standard Liege switch?

Celtic striker Tony Watt is understood to be nearing a move to Belgian side Standard Liege.

Celtic striker Tony Watt is reportedly closing in on a move to Belgian side Standard Liege.

The 20-year-old spent last season on loan with Lierse, scoring eight goals in 17 games.

Watt flew out to Belgium on Monday to finalise a deal with last season's Pro League runners-up, according to Sky Sports News.

The youngster has been training with Celtic ahead of the new campaign, but he failed to feature in the club's Champions League qualifier against KR Reykjavik.
