Petr Cech thinks that there will be no controversy in their match with Barcelona on Tuesday.

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has given his support to Turkish referee Cuneyt Cakir ahead of their second-leg meeting with Barcelona.

Chelsea take a 1-0 first-leg lead into the game at the Nou Camp as they look to progress to the Champions League final.

Chelsea and Barcelona's meetings have conjured up controversy in the past but Cech believes that won't be the case on Tuesday night.

"There were great games between us and Barcelona but there was controversy, which was a shame, overshadowing the great games on the pitch," said Cech.

"We have an experienced Turkish referee [tonight]. If you have an experience of refereeing Galatasaray and Fenerbahce in the Turkish league, a game between Chelsea and Barcelona should be fine.

"The referee will have the same professional approach as we had in the first game, which was without controversy."

Chelsea look to advance to the final for the first time since they were beaten in Russia by Manchester United in 2008.
