Roberto Mancini: Galatasaray played "very badly"

Galatasaray manager Roberto Mancini believes that his side played "very, very badly" in their Champions League defeat to Chelsea.

Roberto Mancini has said that Galatasaray played "very, very badly" during their Champions League defeat to Chelsea this evening.

Samuel Eto'o and Gary Cahill scored in the first half to give the home side a 2-0 win, sealing their place in the quarter-finals.

The manager told reporters: "We really played very, very badly. Chelsea were the better side and they converted the opportunities they got. It's impossible to score with just one shot on goal. We need to take several steps in order to be a better team."

The Turkish side lost 3-1 on aggregate.
