Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero will face no suspension for his challenge on David Luiz.

The Football Association have confirmed that Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero will face no action for his challenge on David Luiz yesterday afternoon.

Reports had claimed that the Argentine international would receive a suspension for his two-footed lunge on the Chelsea defender during the second half of the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley.

Referee Chris Foy decided not issue Aguero with a card for the foul, which resulted in speculation that he had not seen the incident.

However, this afternoon's revelation from the FA has suggested that either Foy or one of his assistants did in fact witness the challenge, meaning that no retrospective can be taken.
