Chelsea boss Antonio Conte reveals that John Terry is not yet ready to return from the ankle problem that has seen him miss the club's last two Premier League matches.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has ruled John Terry out of Saturday's Premier League clash with Hull City.

It had been reported that the 34-year-old had overcome an ankle problem, which ruled him out of Chelsea's last two league matches, to make himself available this weekend.

However, Conte has revealed that the former England captain has still not fully recovered from the ligament damage and will therefore not return to action until after the international break.

"No he isn't available because he hasn't recovered from his injury of his ankle," Conte told reporters. "I think we can see him after the international break.

Chelsea, who will also be without the services of John Obi Mikel this weekend, have lost their last two Premier League matches to drop into eighth position in the table.
