Jose Mourinho confirms Thibaut Courtois return

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho confirms that Thibaut Courtois will return to the squad against Bournemouth on Saturday.

Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Thibaut Courtois will return to the squad for Chelsea's game against Bournemouth on Saturday.

Courtois has been out of action since early September due to a knee injury picked up on international duty with Belgium, with summer signing Asmir Begovic enjoying an extended stretch in the team as a result.

Despite refusing to reveal whether Courtois would be named in the starting lineup against the Cherries, the 23-year-old is likely to replace Begovic.

"Courtois is selected," the Chelsea boss told reporters. "Thibaut was our keeper all last season and you know how fundamental he was. It's important to have him back."

Chelsea are looking to make it three games unbeaten in the Premier League for the first time this season.
