Andre Villas-Boas believes that Fernando Torres was at his best during Chelsea's 1-0 win over Sunderland at Stamford Bridge.
Frank Lampard scored the only goal of the game after Torres's shot had bounced back off the crossbar and into his path.
"He's been playing well," the manager told BBC Sport. "His movement has been improving and he's been feeling more confident. It's good to seem him at his best. I think the crowd did a good job to give him confidence and [that] helps a player to feel well on the pitch."
The win has kept Chelsea fourth in the Premier League table.
