Chelsea manager Rafael Benitez has insisted that "everything is fine" at Stamford Bridge, despite not talking to owner Roman Abramovich in almost three weeks.
Benitez has come under increasing pressure in recent weeks, with Chelsea recording just one victory in six matches. The former Liverpool boss has revealed that his last direct contact with the Russian billionaire was after his side's 2-1 success over Arsenal on January 20.
Benitez told reporters: "I last spoke to him after the Arsenal game, 20 days ago. We were doing really well and he was really happy.
"Since then, I've had conversations with people close to him but not directly. Do you know what he thinks? If you don't know, you can't say this or that will happen. Nobody knows.
"We have been talking with the people here. I was talking with him. We were talking about football. In terms of football, everything is fine."
Benitez has won 10 of his 21 matches since he arrived at Stamford Bridge in November.
