Roberto Di Matteo says that John Terry will be out to silence his critics following a tough week.

Roberto Di Matteo has no concerns about John Terry's state of mind ahead of Chelsea's clash with Queens Park Rangers.

The Blues skipper, who was sent off in midweek against Barcelona, is expected to line up against Anton Ferdinand at Stamford Bridge this afternoon.

Terry is currently awaiting trial, accused of racially abusing the Queens Park Rangers defender during the reverse fixture in October.

Di Matteo believes that the 31-year-old's experience will see him put his recent troubles behind him and keep him fully focused for the upcoming test.

"He'll be in the right frame of mind to play," said the Italian. "We've all had a couple of tough weeks but I don't think that is going to influence John.

"He's got a good few years of experience under his belt and he's dealt with setbacks before. I'm sure he'll be very good. He'll be ready for this game just like he is ready for every game.

"All our fans will support the team and John is part of that team. So I have no concerns."

Terry is expected to stand trial in July.
