Chelsea chief executive Ron Gourlay has maintained that the club will sit down with interim manager Rafael Benitez at the end of the season.
The former Liverpool boss recently revealed that he will leave the West London outfit when the campaign comes to a close in the summer.
"We said from day one that Rafa was coming in as interim manager to the end of the season," Gourlay told the club's official website.
"It is important that we remain focused on the job in hand which is qualifying for the Champions League and then at the end of the season we will sit down, have a look at the situation and we will determine how we go forward."
Malaga boss Manuel Pellegrini and Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho have been linked with moves to Stamford Bridge.
