Former Chelsea manager Avram Grant has insisted that he has no plans to return to Stamford Bridge.
The 57-year-old was reported to have been approached by the Premier League outfit to take an advisory position at the club following the negative reaction from fans to new interim boss Rafael Benitez.
"It's not a secret that [owner Roman] Abramovich and I have a private relationship, but nobody from Chelsea has offered me the job," Grant told BBC Radio Five Live. "The most important thing for them is that they have a manager who needs supporting."
When asked if he would work alongside the former Liverpool manager, Grant said: "I don't think it's the right idea for the moment."
Benitez secured his first win with the Blues in the Champions League last night by defeating Nordsjaelland 6-1 but it wasn't enough to claim a place in the knockout rounds of the competition.
