Filipe Luis sets sights on Champions League, Premier League double

Felipe Luis says that he has come to Chelsea to win the Premier League and the Champions League.

Chelsea's new £16m signing Filipe Luis has said that he is determined to win both the Premier League and the Champions League in his debut season with the club.

Luis suffered heartache in the Champions League final with Atletico Madrid last year when they lost 4-1 after extra time to Real Madrid, despite leading 1-0 until deep into stoppage time.

However, Luis has said that the experience has only served to make him more determined to pick up European football's biggest prize in the coming campaign.

"Last season was brilliant but I've come here to do exactly the same," he told Chelsea's official website.

"I want to go one better in the Champions League and, in terms of the Premier League, I want the trophy badly.

"Chelsea is the best club for me to do that. We have the best coach and an amazing squad, we have some brilliant players and I hope the supporters will see the Premier League trophy at Stamford Bridge at the end of the season."

Following the capture of Luis, Jose Mourinho has said that there will be no more arrivals at Stamford Bridge this summer.
