Chelsea duo Florent Malouda and Paulo Ferreria were made to play for Chelsea reserves against Charlton Athletic on Friday.
The French midfielder and Portuguese defender have fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge and Malouda failed to force a move away from the club before the end of the transfer window.
Chances of a first-team return for either look bleak, but both are said to be angered at being forced to play in a reserve team match on Friday, according to the Daily Mail.
The newspaper also reports that Malouda could have his shirt number, 15, taken away from him in the near future.
