Lyon are interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Florent Malouda, according to reports.
Malouda does not appear to have a future at Stamford Bridge after the European champions signed Eden Hazard, Oscar, Marko Marin and Victor Moses.
The 32-year-old had been linked with a move to Brazil earlier in the summer but Malouda has told Chelsea that he would like to return to France and Lyon have enquired about his signature, according to The Metro.
The two clubs are reportedly far apart in their valuation of the player, which could lead to a loan deal being agreed to ensure Chelsea get a portion of Malouda's £110,000-per-week earnings off their wage bill.
