Pedro: 'I have found it difficult'

Pedro admits that he has found it tough to adapt to the Premier League in the early stages of his Chelsea career.

Pedro has admitted that he is finding it tough to adapt to the Premier League after arriving at Chelsea in the summer transfer window.

Chelsea paid a reported £21.4m to sign Pedro from Barcelona, but despite scoring on his debut, the Spaniard has struggled to produce the best form as Jose Mourinho's side battle to recover from a sluggish start to the season.

However, the 28-year-old is confident that he will deliver the goods on a regular basis as he looks to become more comfortable in new surroundings.

"It's hard. It's very different to what I'm used to," Pedro told reporters. "But, little by little, I'm integrating more, adapting with my teammates and the team and that's the most important thing.

"Everything is different, very different to the football I'm used to. I think there are a lot of differences, very physical football, very strong.

"A lot of players attack and it's always complicated. All the games are competitive and very balanced."

Chelsea return to action against Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League on Tuesday.
