Barcelona coach Luis Enrique: 'Pedro regrets Chelsea move'

Barcelona coach Luis Enrique hints that Chelsea forward Pedro may regret joining the Blues following their dismal start to the 2015-16 season.

Barcelona coach Luis Enrique has intimated that Pedro might already regret joining Chelsea in the summer.

Pedro, 28, joined the Blues in a £21m deal as he went in search of regular football, with Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez forming a formidable partnership last term.

Pedro has scored once as the Premier League champions have endured their worst start to a top-flight season for 37 years, winning eight points from a possible 24 to sit 16th.

"We know what the situation was with Pedro, we understand it, it's logical, he wanted to play more and over the course of a player's career you have to make decisions," he told reporters.

"Perhaps now he might want to change that decision I don't know. It's not a question of us missing him, that's what life in football is like."

Chelsea, who have lost four league games already, one more than they did in the whole of last season, host struggling Aston Villa on Saturday.
