Barcelona forward Alexis Sanchez has revealed his shock at John Terry's "unprovoked" actions during the Champions League semi-final second leg clash at the Nou Camp.
The Chelsea skipper saw red in the 37th minute for kneeing the Chilean in the back, leaving his team to battle with 10 men for more than 50 minutes.
Sanchez believes that Terry's actiona were "shameless" and has said that the 31-year-old "crossed the line".
"It was shameless and not something I would expect from a player of Terry's standing and ability," blasted Sanchez. "I was completely shocked by Terry's unprovoked actions, particularly in a game of such great importance.
"He crossed the line and then he regretted it. He could have really hurt his team but then had the good fortune to see them qualify. I'm not sure there was much justice."
Terry will now miss the Champions League final against Bayern Munich through suspension.
