John Terry: 'Chelsea getting back to their best'

Chelsea captain John Terry believes that his side returned to their title-winning form of last season during the 3-0 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Chelsea skipper John Terry has warned that his side are approaching their best form again following a 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park this afternoon.

Goals from Oscar, Willian and Diego Costa handed the champions their first win in interim manager Guus Hiddink's second spell as they picked up their biggest victory over the campaign so far.

High-flying Palace were barely able to trouble the visitors on a rainy day in the capital, and Terry believes that it was as close to their form of last term as they have shown in the current season.

"This was the Chelsea of last year, the football was first class and we kept the ball in tough conditions," Terry told Sky Sports News.

"A near year, a new start, we just have to keep winning games now. We are delighted and it is the feeling we want. Guus has been great since he has come in.

"It was unfortunate what happened but he has come in and picked everyone up. We are, where we are, we have not dwelled on it. If we can put together a run of games who knows hopefully we can go a long way."

The win was Chelsea's first league victory on the road since August and only the second in their last 11 top-flight away games.
