John Terry warns against Chelsea complacency

John Terry warns his Chelsea teammates against complacency following their 2-0 victory over Arsenal in the Premier League.

Chelsea captain John Terry has warned his team against complacency following their win over Premier League title rivals Arsenal.

The Blues moved five points clear at the top of the table on Sunday thanks to a 2-0 victory at Stamford Bridge.

Despite enjoying an unbeaten start in the league this season, Terry is eager for Chelsea to stay focused and maintain their form.

"Clearly [the title race] is not over. Other teams have been in this position. It's nice to have the lead but when you're at the top everyone wants to shoot you down," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

"That's the good thing about the Premier League and why everyone loves it. Teams are out to get us because we are at the top and playing well. The international break is here and we need to come back and maintain our form after that as well. It's very important we do that."

Chelsea continue their league campaign on October 18 when they travel to Crystal Palace.
