Kurt Zouma brushes off 'boring' Chelsea tag

Kurt Zouma brushes off claims that Chelsea are 'boring' by insisting that the team are solely focused on winning.

Kurt Zouma has admitted that the Chelsea team have a defensive mindset, but is not concerned by claims that the soon-to-be Premier League champions are 'boring'.

Jose Mourinho's side were subjected to "boring, boring Chelsea" chants from Arsenal fans during last Sunday's goalless draw at the Emirates.

Despite criticism over Chelsea's tactics, Zouma has insisted that the team are purely focused on picking up points.

"No, I don't like this kind of sentence, but the supporters can say what they want as we have to be focused on our game," Zouma told Sky Sports News.

"The most important thing is that we keep going and keep winning points. I think we play the same but more defensively because we know that everybody wants to beat us and we are focused on only the points."

If Chelsea beat Leicester City and Crystal Palace in their next two games, they will be crowned champions.
