Manchester City will need to take maximum points from their match against Chelsea tomorrow night to keep the pressure on leaders Manchester United.

Manchester City head into tomorrow's home clash against Chelsea in an unfamiliar position - four points behind leaders and rivals Manchester United.

Having led the league for so long, Roberto Mancini's side will face a different sort of pressure at the Etihad Stadium.

Visiting Chelsea will be without skipper John Terry, who is nursing a knee injury.

Terry's absence is likely to mean a Premier League recall for Gary Cahill alongside David Luiz.

Mancini also has injury worries ahead of the fixture, with captain Vincent Kompany and his central defensive partner Joleon Lescott rated doubtful.

Carlos Tevez is expected to return after a six-month exile, although he is only deemed fit enough for a place on the bench.

Chelsea were the first team to defeat City in the league this season when the two sides met at Stamford Bridge last December.

Current form:

Man City: LWWWWL
Chelsea: DDLWLW

Possible lineups:

Man City: Hart; Richards, K Toure, Kompany, Clichy; Y Toure, Barry, Silva, Nasri; Aguero, Balotelli

Chelsea: Cech; Ivanovic, Luiz, Cahill, Cole; Meireles, Mikel; Ramires, Lampard, Mata; Drogba

Sports Mole says: 2-2
