The pre-match handshakes between Chelsea and Queens Park Rangers will go ahead as planned on Sunday, according to reports.

The Premier League have reportedly insisted that the pre-match handshakes for Queens Park Rangers' trip to Chelsea will go ahead on Sunday.

It had been claimed that the niceties would be dropped following Chelsea defender John Terry's alleged racial abuse of R's defender Anton Ferdinand, as was the case before their FA Cup tie in January.

The handshakes will take place this time around, however, for their clash in the Premier League, according to The Sun.

Chelsea could move into fifth with victory this weekend.
