Athletic Bilbao reportedly hold an interest in securing a reunion with Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.
In 2018, Bilbao allowed Arrizabalaga to move to Stamford Bridge for a fee of £71.6m, with the Spaniard penning a contract with the Blues until 2025.
However, after a number of mistakes by the stopper, manager Frank Lampard is allegedly contemplating whether to part ways with the 25-year-old.
According to The Sun, Bilbao are monitoring the situation ahead of potentially making contact with Chelsea over their former player's availability.
Should they wish to push through a permanent exit, Chelsea would likely have to accept a significant financial loss on what they paid less than two years ago.
The report also adds that Arrizabalaga may have to consider a substantial wage cut in order to return to San Mames.
