Chelsea are reportedly keeping a close eye on Harry Kane's situation at Tottenham Hotspur, with the centre-forward's future currently the subject of much speculation.
The Blues are looking to sign a new striker this summer, having allowed Romelu Lukaku to return on loan to Inter Milan for the 2022-23 campaign, but a move for Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo has allegedly been ruled out despite the Portugal international seemingly making himself available.
According to German journalist Christian Falk, Kane is 'very interesting' to Thomas Tuchel's side, with the London giants monitoring the situation surrounding the England captain.
However, Falk claims that Chelsea are not hopeful of convincing Tottenham to let the 28-year-old join their Premier League rivals.
Bayern Munich are being heavily linked with Kane, with their head coach Julian Nagelsmann recently refusing to rule out a move for the striker.

"He's very expensive that's the problem - but brilliant player, one of two or three who can play as a centre forward [as well as a] No 10, but he's very strong, brilliant with [his] head and both feet," Nagelsmann told reporters.
"He could score a lot in the Bundesliga, I don't know the price, but it's really tough for Bayern Munich. We'll see what happens in the future."
The Bundesliga champions are looking for a replacement for Robert Lewandowski following his switch to Barcelona, and the club are said to be long-term admirers of Kane.
Manchester City came close to signing the striker last summer, but the Citizens could not agree a fee with Spurs, who have allegedly made it clear to interested clubs that their star player is not for sale this summer.
Kane's current deal with Tottenham is due to expire in June 2024, and the North London outfit are allegedly keen to open talks over an extension, but there has not reportedly not yet been any firm discussions.

Kane scored 27 goals and registered 10 assists in 50 appearances for Antonio Conte's side during the 2021-22 campaign, while he has found the back of the net on 248 occasions in 386 appearances for the club in all competitions, in addition to contributing 59 assists.
"He is under contract at Tottenham. Sure, he is an absolute top striker, but that's all a dream of the future. So let's see what happens," Bayern CEO Oliver Kahn recently told Bild.
Bayern's recent comments have angered Tottenham boss Conte, with the Italian telling reporters: "Honestly I didn't hear this. For sure I'm a coach who doesn't talk about players from other teams. I don't know why [this happened]. The situation at Tottenham is very clear. The plan is very clear with the club.
"Harry is a part of the project. He is a very important part of the project and yeah only rumours. At the same time, I don't like to speak about players from another club. If I want to do something I go to speak to the club, not through the media.
"I think maybe it's a bit disrespectful for the other club. This is my way. This is my way to face the situation with other players."
Chelsea have signed two new players during this summer's transfer window, bringing in Raheem Sterling from Manchester City and Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli.
