Brentford attacker Said Benrahma is reportedly viewed by Chelsea as a 'priority signing' this summer.
The 24-year-old was strongly linked with a move to Aston Villa ahead of the 2019-20 campaign, but the Bees managed to keep hold of the Algeria international.
Benrahma has again been in impressive form for his Championship side during the current season, scoring 10 times and providing eight assists in 34 appearances in all competitions.
According to La Gazette du Fennec, Chelsea have identified the attacker as a 'priority' this summer and have already made contact with the Algerian to discuss a move.
The report claims that Frank Lampard's side first expressed an interest in January, but the Premier League outfit are now preparing to press ahead with a summer swoop.
Brentford are thought to value Benrahma in the region of €40m (£36m).
