Chelsea have reportedly seen a €100m (£85m) offer for Federico Chiesa knocked back by Juventus.
The 23-year-old starred for Italy during their Euro 2020 success, scoring twice in seven appearances, while he played a key role in his side's victory over England in the final.
Chiesa is currently on loan at Juventus from Fiorentina, but the Old Lady have an obligation to sign him on a permanent deal at the end of next season.
According to Bild, Chelsea approached the Italian giants with a €100m (£85m) offer, but the Blues were informed that the attacker was not for sale under any circumstances.
Chiesa scored 34 times and registered 25 assists in 153 appearances for Fiorentina before arriving in Turin.
Last term, the Italian managed 14 goals and 10 assists in 43 outings for Juventus, winning the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italia during his first season with the Serie A giants.
Chelsea also continue to be linked with Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland but are expected to be frustrated in their pursuit of the Norwegian.
