Chelsea have reportedly indicated that they are ready to make another approach for Sevilla defender Jules Kounde.
Despite successfully selling Kurt Zouma to West Ham United over the weekend, the Blues are yet to have a bid accepted by Sevilla for his French compatriot.
The Spanish club's hierarchy are seemingly unprepared to budge on demanding the 22-year-old's release clause, said to be set in the region of £68m.
However, aware that Kounde wishes to move to Stamford Bridge, ABC Sevilla says that Chelsea have made fresh contact with the player's representatives.
The report claims that the European champions are prepared to make one last bid for the centre-back at some point on Tuesday.
Although Sevilla are in no rush to sell arguably their most prized asset, Lille's Sven Botman and free agent Jerome Boateng have been identified as potential replacements.
