Chelsea will reportedly offer N'Golo Kante a new long-term contract in the coming weeks.
The 30-year-old enjoyed another excellent season for the Blues, making 48 appearances in all competitions, and he starred in Saturday's Champions League final against Manchester City.
Kante played the full 90 minutes of the showpiece event in Porto, where Kai Havertz's first-half strike secured a second European Cup for Chelsea.
The France international, who is now preparing to represent his country at Euro 2020, only has two years left to run on his current deal at Stamford Bridge.
However, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are planning to offer the World Cup winner a 'new long-term contract', as the capital giants attempt to end any speculation surrounding his future.
Kante has made 218 appearances for the Blues since arriving from Leicester City in 2016, winning the Champions League, Europa League, Premier League and FA Cup during his time at the club.
