Chelsea have reportedly offered Bayer Leverkusen the chance to take new signing Malang Sarr on loan as part of the deal to bring Kai Havertz in the opposite direction.
The Blues are understood to have agreed a club-record £89.1m deal for Havertz, who is expected to become their seventh summer signing in the coming days.
Sarr is one of those to have already joined Chelsea during the current transfer window, but the club have confirmed that he will be sent out on loan for the 2020-21 campaign.
Sky Germany claims that the 21-year-old has now been offered to Leverkusen as part of the Havertz transfer.
Sarr, who plays as a centre-back, moved to Stamford Bridge on a free transfer after leaving Nice at the end of his contract earlier this summer.
Chelsea have also brought in Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell, Thiago Silva and Xavier Mbuyamba so far, with the Havertz deal set to take their spending past the £200m mark.
