Borussia Dortmund are reportedly prepared to treble Robert Lewandowski's wages in an attempt to keep the player from expressing a desire to join Chelsea.

Borussia Dortmund will reportedly treble Robert Lewandowski's wages after Chelsea contacted the club about the availability of the Polish striker.

A recent report claimed that the Blues were preparing a bid for the BVB forward if their attempts to snare Wayne Rooney from Manchester United fails.

However, The Express reports that the Bundesliga side are prepared to treble Lewandowski's wages in an attempt to keep him at the club.

Lewandowski has one year left to run on his current deal at Westfalenstadion.
