Chelsea forward Olivier Giroud has reportedly emerged as a January transfer target for Inter Milan.
Having fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge, Giroud is expected to move to a new club at the midway point of the campaign.
While there is allegedly interest in the Premier League, La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that talks are already underway with Inter.
Despite already having Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez and Alexis Sanchez as options in attack, it appears that Antonio Conte is eager to improve the depth of his squad.
However, Giroud's priority during the second half of the season will be to secure regular first-team football ahead of possibly representing France at Euro 2020.
The 33-year-old has made just two starts and four substitute appearances in all competitions this season.
